i was just wondering out of curiosity who has the most mileage on an automatic original tranny.i have a 01 SE with 65,600 4x4 automatic.anyone with a 2001 or newer with more miles on their autos? Smile

Assuming the older and newer R50s use the same tranny core mine had 170k on it with no problems.

Flush it with synthetic fluid and add an after market cooler inline and IN FRONT of the stock cooler....

I have an '01 pathy here in OZ that has 235,000 Kilometres on the clock without a problem Big Grin

I've got 113k on my 99 Autotragic. External cooler and synth fluid went in at 35k miles and been using ever since. Flushed religiously every 45k (maybe a little overkill with synth fluid, but I'd rather spend $100 a year and keep my tranny around longer).
