We just went through a recent '01 Pathfinder purchase. Turns out that the exact day that we bought it - the 3 year in-service warranty expired (even though it only has 34K miles) This will teach me to pay attention to BOTH the 3 years and the miles!

Anyway, the 6 disc in-dash changer locked up - won't play any CD's. The dealer told me I had no options. Instead of listening to that - I called Nissan Consumer Affairs at 1-800-NISSAN-1

They eventually agreed to either fix the in-dash changer, or give me a $200 gift check for my local dealer. I chose the $200 - as I'm replacing the Bose anyway.

Look out for my '01 Pathfinder with the new brush guard! Thanks Nissan!
