I need some help...

Does anyone know the dimensions from the back of the front seats to the rear gate for a 1997 QX4?

My buddy has one and we want to move some shelves - but we are not sure they will fit.

Guess the info I got you earlier today wasn't helpful, probably just the area behind the back seats.

Here's the back story.

We got a deal (free) on a large bookshelf. We were at the office and his QX was back at home. We needed to committ to picking up the shelf but wasn't sure it would fit.

Yeah the link you gave me earler was with the seats up.

As luck would ahve it... we found an identical qx4 just outside our office and we measured it (eyeballed from the outside).
