it's not how much, it's when I get the time to build those damn things. Easy for someone with a plasma/water jet/laser table, hard for someone with a torch and a stick welder.

So System is this for after you already have the 2" lift springs, and how much lift are we talking about. Also price? If you find a local fab shop you could probably have some of the parts cut and just have to weld it together. Just my personal oppinion but tig welding would probably be better. I am a welding inspector so I do have some experience in this area if you have any questions.

Talked to a lawyer, it would be VERY VERY VERY hard to prove I am at fault for anything. Most lawyers would not even take the case against me.

Tig welding is way too slow a processes for these kits, yes it would be better, yes I know how to Tig pretty darn well. You wana buy me a 3k tig welder????

Stick welding with good clean fitament and 7018 rods is more than adequate in this situation. What most people fail to realize is this kit has very little forces on the welds relative to their strength. Most forces are compression forces pushing the metal back into itself.

Ok System I'll get right on that buying you a tig welder Welder lol Wasn't trying to imply that you don't know what your doing, sry if you took it that way. But my other question was whether or not you need to already have the 2" lift coils installed and how much lift will you get. My assumption is yes on the 2" coils and 4.5" total which is what you have now if I am correct. smiley8 I also found this link, http://www.emachineshop.com/ - cool place to have things made 4 you.

it's just that we have gone over and over and over this on another board. Big Grin

You need 2" rear lift coils and stock front coils...you can get away with all stock coils. I DO NOT Recommend front 2" lift coils.

My understanding is this is a 4" drop lift up front, less in the rear. Same as He has had for a few years. This is a redesigned version of the same thing. All stock angles, CV, steering etc are maintained.

I have the AC coils on all corners. Keith just the rears. The rear coils actually give you about 3-4 lift.

Nice job Keith!!!
