I have a 1999.5 Pathfinder XE with about 130,000 KMS on it. I have one small problem with the idle on start up. This summer I started experiencing high idle on startup. This took place on most mornings and a little on hot days. I believe it has something to do with a sensor, for some reason the computer thinks it's very cold out and idles the engine high to warm it up? When in this condition the idle will not come down with a little blip of the throttle. Any ideas? Could this be something to do with mass air flow sensor? I also remember reading something about a temperature sensor inside the airbox? Any truth to this? Any help is appreciated, Thanks, alm
