I was lurking around on TTORA for some bumper ideas, and I stumbled on this guy that has built an R50 bumper and sliders. Just thought I'd pass it along

CBI Offroad Fab.

Look under images.

That Pathy's from Idaho. Dunno what county 1M is, but I'm guessing it's over in eastern ID. I'd like to see that...

After going back and looking again, I was thinking that it was kinda dumb to gain all that departure angle from the new bumper but not raise the spare tire. I know that it would be a simple mod

I had Steve raise the tire on the carrier about two weeks ago. pics here

other pics here

After the tire was raised.

I didnt have the bucks to have him do all the work at once. I'm just parting it together. Front bumper is next, or maybe a basket?

By the way, 1M is Madison County. Northeast corner of Southeast Idaho.

Welcome Snowsnake! smiley49

Looks like real good work. Nice Pathfinder!

Theres not many custom rear bumpers on R50s. Have You seen Systems-F's? It a 3x5 tube air tank design. He been bashing the trails for a while with it. Works real good.

Thanks for the welcome, and the compliment nissannut. If Systems-F is driving caR50, I've been drooling over that ride for a while.

The biggest trouble I had was dragging the aftermarket hitch. Until I got the new bumper. About a month ago I got hung up on the spare and had to be winched. I decided then it was time to raise the spare. Its still possible to drag it, but much less likely now.

I also like your Pathfinder. As was said, there aren't many aftermarket R50 bumpers out there.

I'm also quite jealous that you're in Idaho. Me and my girl want to move up there in the next few years. It's so difficult to be an avid outdoorsman when there's so many businesses and housing developments popping up all over your home state (TN).

Oh, and finally, welcome!
