I bought a new camera and I finally snapped a few pics. I have been busy sanding and replacing a few parts. Last fall I scored a sweet hood and a better windshield (not installed with pics). So after covering up a few strange holes (there was really no rust on the 66 Patrol - thanks to AZ climate) I hit it with primer. I will be taking it to a local paint shop the first of Aug to get a fresh paint job. I just didn't want to tackle paint without a garage. By the way, I have not decided on a color yet. I'm leaning to a gloss army green. I think the Frontiers and Xterras in the late 90s came with it. I wanted to stay with a Nissan color, but who knows what it will come out looking like anyway.

That color you're looking for is called Canteen and it was a 2003 Xterra color only.  1998 Frontier 4x4, 2002 Xterra 4x4, and Z28 street rocket Pass here and go on. You're on the road to heaven - Kerouac |

Yes, I knew it was a short run. Thanks for the name of it. The guy at the paint shop really had no clue. I might just have him try to match it. They seem pretty good if you bring in a paint code sample. I imagine the Nissan dealer (with body shop) can pull a code sample for me.

The patrol will preform well, what is the drive train going to be. You keeping the inline 6?
I don't know exactly which green your talking about. 96-97HB's received a dark green, a ton of frontys got a dark green color. It's kinda a common color for late model Nissan vehicles. If you plan to do some heavy wheeling you might want to pick a color which Is easily repairable. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |

Umm, you maybe didn't know that it has a D44 front, a Ford 9in rear and a 302 V8 with a C6 tranny and I think a Dana 20 Tcase.
