On the way up to Wyoming, we got a couple hours of sleep just outside Rifle CO until the sun came up. In the early dawn hours we drove on northward through Meeker, CO and look what we saw at a run down Sinclair station there!









The guy had some other interesting relics as well, including an EB that looked like it could be decent with a little work.

You didn't happen to find a grail on your trip, did you?

old patrols...Is that an engine he was rebuilding on the trailer?

No grail, but I am now the keeper of the holy hand grenade.

That engine looks like a patrol motor, and it looks really clean too.

that is pretty awesome....not many times in life you will come across or see that. Several of those look to be great rigs for resto or build up. I wonder who the owner is...usually us Patrol heads know each other.

It's a small town. Call any local business in Meeker and ask who owns the old Sinclair station and I'll bet you can track the guy down.

Hi, Im a mechanic that works here in meeker at the sinclair station. We got the patrol bug!!! currently every patrol but the white one runs. The white one has a good motor we just havent had time to pull it. The Blue motor has a bad crank bearing that needs to be replaced and the Engine hasnt been Rebuilt. The Blue patrol has 92k original miles and it was a one owner. Its in almost perfect shape, minus a few dings and the seats need to be redone. The Brown one runs great except the springs are worn to the bumpstops. I believe were going to sell parts we dont need. We have almost 4 of everything . IT IS NOT A RUNDOWN SINCLAIR STATION!!!!! We are a mechanic shop, and we are waiting for an inspection on our pumps. We stuck cars in the island because people kept coming and trying to fill up.

Thought it was pretty cool to see all those old Patrols together. I'd been driving almost all night and went through town at dawn and had to rub my eyes a bit to be sure what I was seeing.

That said, as with most places in Colorado...that's a beautiful area you live in.

Fudd do you sell anything on your website!!?!?!?!? everytime I get on a forum some guy its recommending your site to him to buy misc stuff. My boss (owner of most of these patrols) has went to the site numerous times.

I've been through Meeker a few times. Are you selling any of those Patrols? I've been thinking about buying one.
