here is the run down on all new steel body pannels from Columbia....

They are hand made, they sell everything to build a brand new Patrol from new steel body parts. There are several shops in Bogota that make these parts, price in Columbia is excellent with the exchange rate.

Here is current problems with buying the parts and bringing them into the use....obvious language barrier (not to tough to get around), the makers do not want to and may not be able to export, so far purchase is done by 3rd party who is only doing it to help, shipping tons of body parts by sea a bit risky from Columbia and I need a bunch of cash!

So buy my 64 and it may happen much faster. Basically I need to get down there, get myself an import license and figure out the best way to ship by sea from Columbia and also need at least few thousand dollars for first big order. I do have a set of floor pans and seat frame on the way plus some aftermarket mechanical parts.

Not sure when, maybe early to mid winter or maybe not for a year. Like everything Patrol it takes time, work and patients...

well...I do not think "drugs" is a problem....yet. I have not gotten that far with an order but it could be a problem when the stuff comes through USA customs, Yet it is easy to search body panels and the like for drugs and so this does not concern me. We do have free trade agrrements with south and central america so that does make things easier...
