That is Tom's Patrol who lives up in Canada. I have not seen that picture though, did you take it? The pic is from GoneMoab....

So let me see if I get this right, you live in AZ and you want a newer Patrol such as this MQ pictured?? Or are you looking for an older 60 series?

If you are after the MQ you have a problem. First it was not sold in the USA so the ones here are very few and super hard to find for sale. Next, nothing newer than 1980 can be imported and this is not even until 2005. The MQ didn't start production until 1980. There may be a way around this as some MQ's have been imported but it is going to require you to do lot's of research and lot's of talking to the governement. A diesel may also be hard to pass emissions in AZ. I can easily find you a MQ Patrol in SWB, LWB or pickup cab form....diesel or petrol in LHD. The diesel is harder to find though. These would be outside the USA and have to be imported. I know where a 84 rhd LWB MQ Patrol is right now for sale with a 5spd, SD33 turbo and a H260 rear diff with stock LSD. Like I say though you can't import it until it is 25 years old.

So not sure what you want and are willing to go through....email me for more details or to chat about this more.

Just to show a pic of my Patrol here.
Mine is a W260 (that's what the ones made in Spain are called). The pic above is what we call a K160 (which my old green one was). The K always indicates the SWB and the W the LWB.
The K160 was avail. with the SD33 N/A Diesel, the SD33T Turbo Diesel and the L28 gasoline (at least in Europe) and the P40 in some markets. All engines were inline 6.
The 260, which is a modified MQ with longer leafs in the front and slightliy different frame, was avail. with the RD28T Turbo Diesel and the RB30 gas engine.

Life starts where the road ends!
'04 Nissan Terrano III 3.0Di Turbo Diesel LWB, 265/70-16, 4" suspension, carPC, Playstation2, 7" touchscreen TFT front 8" flip down TFT back & '89 Pathfinder V6 Rallye conversion, 235/85-16, 6-point rollcage, nothing but dash and 2 racing seats inside, 3" suspension, '89 Zook Samurai to be tube bugged

Thanatoz....here is a suggestion,

Why don't you let me locate you a MQ 1980 Patrol in LHD. It may take me a little while to find a good truck, especially with a diesel. If you can settle for a petrol motor it will be easier to find. The P40 or L28 are both great motors with lot's of power. The MQ could be shipped to the USA at the same time as my LG61 in January. The cost of the truck will not be that much, $2k-3k in good condition with full service and running well. So for under $4k you can get an MQ home to your door. You can then play with it and modify the truck to your liking. Use it a few years then sell it and import a newer MQ. By 2009 you can import a wide variety of MQ/MK Patrols and in the meantime you can still have an MQ like the one pictured above.....what do you think??

Not sure this link will work, sometimes they do not from this website...

1980 MQ for sale

If the link did work then you can see it has the SD33 (non-turbo) diesel, ARB lockers, lift and other do-dads. Under 300,000 kilo's on the truck. It is in Australia so it is right hand drive but it is also under $4k in USA dollars. This is gives you an idea on the kind of MQ Patrols available starting in 2005. And just in case it was not clear...MQ's starting in 1980 have the exact same body style as the white/green one pictured above. Chug
