I can't believe how awesome your red Patrol is. So that is what the interior of the hardtop is supposed to look like. Good luck on ebay, but I still like your blue one better.

hey thanks jason....

It is nice but I have not put any work into it yet so that is prolly why you like the blue 64 more. Yea that is what the interior is like stock except they did the panels in white not black. Seat were gray or same color as the truck up to 69 then black. The red 66 Togo is stock and clean, the dash just has a few extra items on it like tach. What you see if you viewed the ebay ad was a nearly 40 year old P-troll that is stock, one owner and been garaged for it's entire life. How many of those you think still around!?

I know of one with its original paint. Its not really what I would call shiny. Not nearly as shiny as Ian's red 66, but it still shines a bit. It wasnt kept in a garage. Rather, a pull barn all its life. It has been in use for quite awhile, and the noise coming from the rear diff shows it...

He doesnt want to put the FJ-40 rear axle in, though.

So once every month, he drives it around his property in 4LO with no rear driveshaft...

well...if he wants to make it live again and drive it right I have several rear diffs. I can also get a new ring and pinion.

It would be cool if every time someone saw a P-troll if they took a picture and noted the vin number. I sure would like to have documented how many are still out there in the USA alive and this would be the best way to do it.....yet I do know it is a bit of a pipe dream.

Well, I will be making an offer on a really sorry Patrol shortly. After that, I may stop by and check out that other one... Maybe he could get ahold of you for the ring gear and pinion. It would be great to help somebody get their old Patrol back on the road again...

Fudd - check your PT's. Smile

If you love something set it free.
If it comes back, it will always be yours.
If it doesn't come back, it was never yours to begin with.

But, if it just sits in your living room, messes up your stuff, eats your food, uses your telephone, takes your money and doesn't appear to realize that you had set it free.....
You either married it or gave birth to it !!
