The Pat is looking mean with the new roll cage. It took much longer than I expected, but I did get new glass. There was a small blizzard when my friend drove it home at night. I can't believe the cops didn't bust us. Pulling an Ace Ventura in the snowstorm beacuse there are no wipers!

By the way, Datz I had a few questions for you about all the electrical switches. My starter seems to kick on and won't shut off. I should have some Pics tomorrow.

The starter is controlled by the momentary pushbutton starter switch. The pushbutton activates the starter relay on the firewall, which sends juice to the starter. If the starter is sticking on, it could be either the pushbutton or the solenoid itself. Probably the pushbutton. That starter button is about $5 at autozone. The weather may have finally gotten to that one.

The two switches near it, the one on the left is the ignition/fuel pump, and the one on the right is the cooling fan.

I'll keep looking for the wiper motors. I KNOW that there were two with the truck when I got it. I went through one of my sheds and haven't found them yet.

Jason - come over to www.rmp-o.com I'm sure you can find someone with some extra wiper motors over there. The biggest problem you'll have is finding arms to go on them. I ended up having to make my own.

There are also some pretty good P-trol experts on the site that can help with the wiring gremlins.

Jason.. I couldnt find the original wiper motors, but you might be able to adapt the EWM 12V kits for the old Jeeps seen here:

http://www.willysjeepparts.com/Windshield_Wipers.htm

That motor looks very much like the ones I saw in the bucket of parts that was with the patrol when I got it.

Yeah, those look good. I assume you need the EWM 6/12 for your old WIlly's. If you are ordering them could you measure the shaft length? I want to make sure the shaft is long enough to pass through the Patrol window frame. But at first glance those look great and are at a very fair price!

The willys currenty has one of those on it and the shaft length is more than long enough.. almost too long. It could probably be cut down a bit.

It would work fine for the Pat.

The willys is 12v, so it's getting the EWM 12.

You mean like this?

I have some guy in Flagstaff making a custom soft top for me. I'm going with a fastback style since I have the back of the back of the tub filled up with a gas tank (I need to get a bigger one too). THe current 16 gallon or so is too small for a thirsty 302. I would like to get a second tank and run it as a reserve. Summit racing had a cool rectangular 15 gallon tank that should fit right between my current tank and the fender tub.

Those springs are the stock patrol springs that have been rearched. That was all done before I bought the truck.
