My door strikers are like little stars. Not like my 69 doors were. I would only be interested in full doors if you could score a set. Seems like there were a bunch of Patrol guys in NM, so I might just drive my truck out there, buy a top and such things from someone then ship the Super Pat out East from NM. I want to make sure I can still through a boat on the roof (see sig PIC)

Anyway, I don't expect to ship the truck out until Aug 1st. Maybe sooner if I can get the parts I need first. My project has really stalled of late. My new roll cage took something like 2 months for the shop to finish; then some punk kids egged my Patrol and cut the driver's seat all to hell. I'm just glad they didn't do any serious damage.

Jason. Frown Sorry to hear about the punk kids. That really sucks. Those seats are out of a Hyundai of some sort. Should be able to get them really cheap from junkyards.

NAU's finest:
The seats themselves are just cut up. Nothing a seat cover wont hurt. They did manage to egg the interior and spray shaving cream and some strange veggies all around. The veggies is what surprised me the most. Maybe some Eco green college kids got pissed off at my fine gas mileage numbers, ha! Either that, it was just what they had left over in the fridge - what college kid eats well anyway? smiley12 Pizza and beer are so much more common.

Jason, have you tried finding someone at a boat shop to make your top? Several years ago I unsuccessfully tried to have a interior shop make a top for a '37 Auburn Cord. They kept saying they could do it and would never get to it.I took it to a boat shop and maybe 3 weeks later I had a killer top that got me many compliments.

At least with the patrol you just take the hose and hose it out to clean the interior. Thats what I always did with that thing. So, shouldnt be too hard to clean it up.

Yup, only took about $3 in quarters.

Zcarmaniac, good idea about the boat shop. Believe it or not, there is a few here in Flag. Since I don't mind about drilling a bunch of snaps in the body, I think that might be a good solution.

Rondo, No one wants a patrol, buy a jeep ,landcruiser all the same type. only difference is patrols are rare, very cool and when setup, tweaked a little bit. will earn respect. Easy to buy aftermarket parts and follow the leader, That will not happen to a patrol owner and anyone who fabricates ,builds vehicles- custom projects, understands..yj, frontier, xterra bla bla bla.. no patrol ? everybody 4 wheels and that is all that matters...
