Well I had fuel leaking from my crb and sure enough it had tiny rust particles, but not too many. I then readjusted my float bowl. It was off a but. I then reassembled and the carb (after some tuning) it is running awesome too. I guess that when one Patrol gets cured then they all start to get cured! Chug

Hehe...coll deal man! I think that the Rochester just has to be damn clean. After I ran out of fuel last week mine would just not start once we got it home. It finally turned out to be clogged jet in carb. I had to pull the carb and clean it again then got the filter in and now it runs like a champ. I am still after a better carb that is designed for serious off roading...all you would need is an adapter plate as we talked about.

anybody ever try and compare the intake manifold on the patrol with other I-6 because I think there is a 4 barrel manifold out there for everything but the Nissan I-6. Also what was up with some 2 barrel holley carb that supposly bolts right on ?
