Ok Patrol gentleman I've decided to solve this grubby system for my engine. If I'm going to stick with the original engine in my truck, then I will try a bit harder to find more modern solution to the points system.

If there is a way to go electronic, I'm going to find it...

Hey man If you are serious about getting an engine I have 2 leads here locally. You would first want to decide how much yoiu are willing to pay and how much it costs to ship the thing to VT.

Well, I don't know what they go for. There was that '69 engine with the rebuilt top end on Ebay that started at $400 and got no bids. I guess shipping is what it is. I won't have $$ for a couple months or until I sell my Volvo. Have a look at this:
