Hey guys I found a Parts Patrol here in Flagstaff. The fenders are in awesome shape and the front grill, hood all are great. I understand that the clutch is dead, but the truck has not been ran for some time. I'm trying to contact the current owner to see what he wants for the truck as a whole or for individual parts. I just wanted to see if anyone else needs stuff from the truck. I will try to get some pictures of it and the parts once I hear more about it. By the way it is a 65-68 I did not check for the specific year.

Zeeto,

Keep me posted on your status. I'm on the hunt something fierce for quality doors and maybe a hardtop, so if you need other parts, ie fenders, hood or whatever, maybe we can work together. My buddy met this guy that drives all over the US shipping auto stuff and whole vehicles. My friend had a 1954 Dodge Power Wagon shipped from NJ to ME for about $500 delivered. And a power wagon is HUGE! He is cheaper if you don't mind waiting until he has a delivery near the scheduled pickup spot.

i dont have a status, hehe. no but seriously this summer i was going to be using a pathfinder body and making a custom frame then transferring my yota drivetrain and a 4.3/th350 into it. if i could use a patrol instead of the path that would be awesome. i'm not worried about doors, i can run without them or incorporate a tube support in thier place, or the hardtop. i'm mainly looking for a good, with not too much rust, tub if i go this route...

well I hope to hear from the guy in the next few days. All I was told is that all is in solid running condition except the clutch was dead and the owner could not find a replacement one. But I plan to play with the truck a bit to listen to the engine and so forth. I would likely take the rear axles because I am now running 32X9.5 super swampers.

Great, maybe by then I'll know what I need. The snow is finally receding and I should be able to get an engine stand soon. Roll Eyes
Any pics of your Patrol with the 32's? Wink

Hey Jason....I know it is not the cheap route but a stainless tank with all new fuel lines and filler could cure this problem forever! Might be best to spend a little cash and be done with it on the second try....I will be having a stainless tank made for my 64, hopefully slightly larger and with special skid plate.....

well Fudd I agree. If I have to go back there I will look into a custom tank. Whe you have yours built any idea of the cost, and do you think if your guy were to build 2 at once would you (we) get a price break?
