An original Nissan / Datsun Service Bulletin manual which the Factory issued to each dealer in 1968. Volume 90 deals with the Datsun Nissan Patrol model 60. Measures 10" x 7 1/4" and is 26 pages with pictures and technical detail. In near mint condition.

I have one from 1961 or 62, these are very rare for the Patrol and are kind of cool too! I estimate that 68 one to be worth around $50...maybe more

What's even funnier is I had forgotten the end date and $12.50 was my interim high bid. I was planning to go up to 18 or so at the last minute if I got outbid but I forgot about it until I got the winning email. Oh well, I'll have to scan it for ya.

You guys need to consult on this stuff before you buy - agree on who makes the bids and you'll get stuff cheaper! That's pretty funny you were bidding against each other without knowing it. There's not too many people out there actively looking for Patrol stuff.

You are right not many people seeking this stuff but it is soooo damn rare that in 20 years it could be worth a lot to certain people. Most my lit is in very nice condition...I want to get it framed before long and display it in my house! LOL, yea that is how much I am into Patrols

I would love to see your collection of stuff! From the sound of it, you've accumulated quite a bit over the years.

Holy Moly! I thought I was an ephemera nut! (I am but haven't had time to get a lot on the Patrol yet ! ) I didn't know it was Fudd but sometimes we might have no choice but to bid against each other. Generally, I'd be more likely to just let the other person have it if I know who it is. I was thinking before of starting an "Ebay ID" thread for just that purpose.

yea...I don't care about the bidding. If I win it cool if you win it cool too!! Like the carb I beat Jason out of...it turned out to not be a bolt on, maybe adapt but not stock bolt on carb. So I lost even though I won on that one

The poster is rare because unlike the "showroom" poster it was only for dealers. It is a close up of the baby blue ragtop...this Patrol is not that nice and in a close up you see why. Yet it still has some of the original canvas!! It is owned by a guy in Cali who has a Datsun resto shop, now it is white. My poster unfortunately has a water stain on one side but it is still cool, they came with a magnet set up on the back for hanging. I heard that there is a poster for each rig feature in the showroom poster. That would make 15 posters like this Patrol one. John?? Anyone else heard anything about this...!?

Will you help me out and scan the doc you got? By the way, what is your engine situation? I have been away from the internet for about a month? I will check on the one for $500. The way I see it is if it is still there and I can get it running I will try to low ball the guy. I imagine we can get several people in on the parts to help subsidize the overall cost. I'm still trying to find a place to yank the engine for you. I'm living on a grubby college campus now. However, I'm not affraid of pulling an engine right here in the parking lot if I need to.

Dogwater, By the way have you heard of the rustic overtones or Parinoid Social Club up there in Vermont? How about Geary's Beer, now that is GOOOOOD stuff. I miss it here in AZ!
