Hey there, I was admiring your picture posted of your Patrol. I would like to know where you got the rolebar made, its approx cost, any sugnificant details pertanant to its installatioin/ fabrication and also... where did you get the top? I love the open look with your bikini top!!!

Yeah, the roll bar is sweet. I hope I never have to USE it. Wink Turns out I got it from a guy in Reno. He had it custom made for his 69 Patrol. It drops right in and is made as one piece. It also fits perfectly with hardtop. I got the hard top from John's big boy Patrol since he does not ever use the top anymore. The original cage builder was an experienced welder and did a solid job. He used quality pipe so it is strong. I have put only 2 bolts (out of 4 possible) in each of the 6 contact points the roll bar has with the tub of the Patrol. There are a million places that will weld up a role bar to your specs if you look around.

So is your bikini top just home made? If you could would it be possible to send me some pics of your role bar?? I can take it to some welders here in Austin and get some input from them It is A GREAT BAR!!! Thanks for your responce. My direct email is kaine78728@yahoo if you have any pics of your rolebar(s)
