hey fudd or any other patrol guy, if a partol like that were to show up on the east coast, it would go for a hell of a lot more than that right?

And is that a good patrol?

I have no idea if it would go for more on the east coast. What a Patrol goes for in this kind of is often a toss up. Seems these days though owners want $100 or more for a decent project. Trucks with major major work still going for under $1000. Most i seen on the east side are rotten.

SW Patrols are probily the best in the country. Yet, my 64 rag top from New Mexico is fairly rusty and had rot. This one on ebay looked like a good solid truck to start with. Hard to say if it is a good one without seeing in person. But chances are it is...shopping or buying a truck online is just kind of a toss up. Buying any truck sight unseen has certain risks.

There was a 66 rag top on ebay not long ago. It was green and had a snow plow and was in Wyoming. It looked really bad because it had a home made top and bunch of plow junk on it. But the body was very clean and it had all the s/t gear hidden under the home made junk top. I offered them $750 for it but no dice. They wanted something like $1200. So point is a bad looking Patrol can be very special, you just need an eye for what makes them good.

Hey Fudd, long time no see. I run into you everywhere! I have three Patrols I am selling ranging from $1,500 to $2,500. One of them has virtually NO rust. The other 2 aren't too bad. I posted details on here under the auction block if you guys are interested.

Hey Jeff...how goes it!?

I am not interested in any of the three...I might take that 69 rag top you have off your hands though if the price is right! smiley29

you are welcome to post them on my site and forum at www.rmp-o.com but won't likely get you much interest as the forum has a very limited number of users. If time was on your side you could likely do much better parting them out. The PTO assembly alone can go for a cool $500. Good turn signals also fast hot selling item at great prices. But I doubt time on your side or you feel like killing them to part.

Les out in Cali sent me an offer for his Patrols recently...plus random people who want to dump theirs for well under a grand. But I am just not in the market for more KL60's as I got a bunch. If the price is right (cheap) and it close to me then I am considering it....such as a 65 for free in Colorado or a 66 with new motor in New Mexico or a nice 66 100 miles from me.

With two chassis in great shape sitting in the shop and enough parts to build 3 Patrols all I need is a few good bodies and motors and I am in business. Could have at least 2 nice Patrols this way and am going for it in one way or another.

Good luck with the sales....to me you still are the silent Patrol guru Jeff!! Chug
