So a fellah here wants to sell his 67 Nissan Patrol. It has Waggy Dana 44s swapped in along with a Chev drivetrain. Not a lot of original parts but body is in awesome shape and much is restored. Has a hard top, extra doors, etc. All i want is the TH350 trans and NP205 tcase. Engine is gone. If i buy all this just for what i want, what could i expect to sell the patrol for? Not interested in making $ off it. Just breaking even.
So what is the market for patrols without their original parts? Did some surfing on the nissan patrol club website and ads are somewhat few and far between.

opinions?

Depends on finding a buyer. Someone who wants a patrol will pay a lot more than someone just looking for a body to buggy out. If you can afford to sit on it for a while, and if you hit the right market, you will likely get more. Try the RMP&O site.

You know, Fudd is up in Jackson Hole, Wy....he might bite.

you might want to drive it before you sell it
the patrol is in a league of its own when it comes to its off road capabilities and you might find your fronty useless in comparisson
butt a parts car goes in between 200 and 1000
depending on whats gone and such good luck
i have a stock motor and trans an transfer and rear end for it and they are for sale if you have the cash a fully restored patrol couldnt get 4k on ebay last week and it was nice, so i guess to some thats alot of money,to some folks
i just parted out a 69

Yeah, not sure you've seen Rondo's Frontier Big Grin

Let's just say it's pretty capable, and it would take a pretty danged well built Patrol to hang with it.

Hey Rondo, I can use a bunch of parts. My rig is in Flagstaff, AZ. I would give you funds for a solid hard top and full doors that work well. Wiper parts, a hood that is in good shape.

I have no interest in the powertrain since mine is all early bronco stuff. So you would be left with a solid tub to try to sell and frame I guess? Hell, I'll take extra fenders too. They can always take a beating on a rock ot two.

Let's talk,
email me directly at jasondmcallister@hotmail.com we could figure on what to offer the guy.

If your location is right, then it would be a whole lot easier to come over to Grand Junction and buy my TH350 and np205. The trans was hooked to a torque converter that went bad. $150.

My stuff aside, if you are near or not near GJ, then just find one, don't tear apart a nice Patrol.

Where is the thing at? How much do they want? A chevy motor should be esat to come by. BTW, I also have the front and rear axles...But the rear needs and new R&P.

Well fellas i'm not going to buy the Patrol. All i really want is the TH350 and NP205 and they are the most common parts on the planet. I get the feeling i can't really move this thing if i got it.
If you guys want it i'll tell ya where to go.

This is the website, go to classifieds, autos, and you'll see his ad. Contact him direct, he seems like a nice guy. I haven't seen the rig and can't speak for its condition.

Bleh....the Patrol isn't worth more than a few hundred by itself.

It's a matter of what the stuff he's selling with it is worth...probably a good deal if you add it all up.

Hey 67L60,

Do you have a hard top that is in good shape? I would be interested. I was going to make a soft top but I'm getting sick of trying to find a place that will take the job.

Mine is a 66 so the door strikers might be different depending on what year the doors are.

If you have one or a lead on one let me know.
