hmmnnn....I have seen those seats somewhere be4 but can not remember where. They do look nice and comfortable. Without the frame base they just might fit in a P-troll. Yet, that color and leather (?) will get aweful hot and sticky in the summer with the top off.
I have often thought the same thing...it would be nice to have a P-troll that will do hwy speeds. Taking road trips in my rigs sure would be fun, cruising down to Moab for example. I have considered a newer engine such as an SD33 or even newer. A 5spd and transfer from same years of Patrol...at that point might as well do the diffs too. I like the idea of running a newer Patrol drivetrain and engine but getting the stuff from over seas is a little tricky. Mostly the parts, you can get them but Nissan of Japan does not want you to buy them. If your rig is still mostly stock then if you convert I would save the old stuff. If you do not weld the c4rap out of the frame you can always drop the old stuff back in. A universal mount system would be the coolest! |

Alot of the FJ40 guys are running 4.3's and SBC's... My roommate has an FJ40 on rockwells, and 40's (soon to be 44's.. hehe) and he's got a 2F with some minor work done to it, and an SM420 with an NP205 bolted to it. It runs pretty darn good if you ask me...
