If you thought this is to good to be true it is
I seen this before as I am always looking for parts. First WTF is a 1200 Patrol?? The only place I seen anything 1200 Patrol is on ebay, it is listed no where in my many books. Second, I was interested in the R&P so I got out an old one I have around and compared, my stock one is much bigger and burlier in size so I didn't even go as far as to count the ring gear numbers. Third, the axle looks to be 4 bolt and a Patrol is 6 bolt plus part number shown is not a Patrol part number. If you read the descriptions these guys have a bunch of stuff they got from this guy who got it from that guy. So IMHO I do not think they even know what a Patrol is or what they have. I even went as far as to call and email them to see if they have any Patrol parts...result: No response. On a different note...ebay rocks for finding rare Patrol parts, the key is knowing how to search. Yesterday I won a auction for a Patrol windshield washer switch. I saw the listing, it said "Unknown Part". Once I saw it I knew it was Patrol as it matches ones shown in my late 1970's brochures. Cost was $15. This switch is NOS and should match stock on any Patrol 69 or later. 64 L60 Patrol *project in the works* 64 KL60 Patrol "Hogan" -67 145 HP engine -Koenig stock PTO winch -7.50x16 Michelin XZL's -Rancho 5000's 66 KL60 Patrol "Admiral Togo" -40K original miles -245-75R15 Cooper Discoverers on stock 15" split rims & caps |

It even said the R&P would fit a 210.

oh yea...I just compared the axle to the one I had out of my 64. While similar and maybe 2 of the lug bolts may be missing on the ebay one making it a 6 bolt the difference I clearly see is in the end...it does not match stock on the splined end. If anyone cares email me and I will send ya a pic of the axle out of my 64 so you can compare also. It is close but I do not think it will match or work...

G60 parts online
here is a link to some 60 series Patrol parts, new...aftermarket my guess. The free wheeling hubs are spendy so might be very good, they got some good very hard to find stuff like speedo cables. Prices is Aussie dollars and exchange rate is .66 to 1 Anyone know wtf the snatch straps listed are!? Also the knuckle flange repair kit is very interesting as most the parts for this are NLA from Nissan except cap bearings. I think I should email them! 64 L60 Patrol *project in the works* 64 KL60 Patrol "Hogan" -67 145 HP engine -Koenig stock PTO winch -7.50x16 Michelin XZL's -Rancho 5000's 66 KL60 Patrol "Admiral Togo" -40K original miles -245-75R15 Cooper Discoverers on stock 15" split rims & caps |

My guess is that axle is for a Datsun 1200, and definitely not a Patrol. The 1200 was a solid rear axle econobox with 4 lug wheels. They were made in the early 70s and kindof looked like mini-mustangs.
This guess is further proved by the ring and pinion listing. The B210 is listed for that ring and pinion. The Datsun 1200 was the predecessor to the B210 and used the same running gear: An Austin A series derived OHV 4 banger. The 1200 was a 1.2L model. The B210 came in 1.2, 1.4, and the 1.5L models. Both the B210 and the 1200 were solid rear axle cars. ---------------------------- BEEFYJames Fabrication - Custom Fabricated for Use and Abuse Nissan Terrano .. "Take a grip of Steering!" |

The snatch strap is a recovery strap. Unless if it came with the Patrol, I dont quite understand why it would be listed...

Holy Crap! That is one nice old Datsun! My uncle had one of those for many many years...he drove it into the ground, it was literally falling apart from rust but he still drove it as it ran good. The seats were so done though, LOL...I remember going for many fishing trips in that old thing. He gave it to my cousin who sold it for $50 and I think it got crushed. Funny....
That thing looks like it has racing seats and a roll bar...is that right!? I remeber how ugly his was and I thought is was one huge POS when I was a kid but now the thing looks kinda cool. The recovery straps are just that as I figured out. It was just confusing why they came up under G60 parts and I though it said "brake recovery strap". One cool thing about the link to the G60 parts is they have a knuckle flange rebuild kit. Bit spendy but comes complete with all seals, gaskets and bearing to rebuild the knuckle flange in kit form. You can not get anything for the knuckle flange from Nissan except the top roller bearings. I think I may order one and talk to them about selling that kit on my RMP&O site. 64 L60 Patrol *project in the works* 64 KL60 Patrol "Hogan" -67 145 HP engine -Koenig stock PTO winch -7.50x16 Michelin XZL's -Rancho 5000's 66 KL60 Patrol "Admiral Togo" -40K original miles -245-75R15 Cooper Discoverers on stock 15" split rims & caps |
