Hey again guys, just wanted to tell you that I sold my R50 Path (family use) and am now the proud owner of a 2000 GU Patrol. Its got the TB45E gasoline engine (4.5 lt in line six with 205 Hp), H260/H233b solid axles on coil springs, already equipped with 33x12.5R15 tires (factory comes with 16") and Rancho 9000X shocks, the rest is bone stock ...

My idea is to leave it for family raids (my HB can be used for harder wheeling), but still want something like these OZ Patrols .... I already ordered an ARB roof rack especially for a Patrol to Australia.-

Anyways, the Nissan team in my home still remains in shape Devil

Cause they don't want a factory solid axle on coil sprung, electrically locking differentials, electronically disengaged sway bars, 6 in line or 4 turbodiesel direct injection engined, cooler in the armrest equipped, size as a 4 door Tahoe, 3 row 8 people, Nissan SUV in the market , ... Big Grin

Cool Patrol....I drove a SWB GU while in Colombia. It had the 3L intercooled TD diesel and was a manual. Sure was an awesome truck....

I also am not happy we don't get new Patrols here. Mad

Yeah the 3.0 direct injected Diesel (ZD30 DDTi) is a gem of a turbo engine. Almost 100% of the european Patrols are diesel and almost 80% of the australians are also. Gasoline engines, the 4.5 lt (mine, the TB45E) and the new VVT 4.8 lt (280 Hp) in line sixes are really thirsty engines... but hell ... mine is also stick Chug

JP, you are a grub Wink

I love that rig; I sure wish we could get those here in the US. Looks real nice with that rack too. The 4" lift will be great! Can't wait to see some action pics.
