Yeah DR, this thing is really just like the LC except for the nose. In length this is the size of a 4 door Tahoe.

I love that rig; I sure wish we could get those here in the US. Looks real nice with that rack too. The 4" lift will be great! Can't wait to see some action pics.

Hey Jason, love your HB Chug ... I'm sure Patrols would be a good model to market in the US. Although you have Armadas and all sort of big size SUV's that somehow in size rival the Patrol GU. In our lands we have no Armadas nor Titans (these are US only Nissans).

Hope my Patrol looks a little better with the 4" lift kit .... just like this Australian fellow (its a 3" lift the one on the picture) ...

Hi all,
thought I'd say a quick hello.
I'm in New Zealand, and own a 1992 SWB Safari (Japanese Import). Currently runs a 3" lift, pto winch, factory rear diff lock, 33" tyres and removed sway bars.

Very nice ride Kiwi, Safaris are MQ's right ? What have been the fellings after you removed the sway bars (the off road benefits are logical but on a daily basis on the street .. )

Mine is a GQ, which are 1988 on, although there were a very small amount made in '87, with the MQ over here being pre '88 leaf sprung.

I find I have a lot more body roll with no swaybars, but it's onraod manners are still ok.
It originally ran a factory swaybar disconnect, and some models never ran a front sway here any way.

The benefits off road far outweigh any onroad issues in my opinion.

Thanks Mate, I am thinking on removing the sway bars of my 2000 GU after I put the 4" (100 mm) OME lift kit that arrived today form OZ ... I know that some GUs have electrically disconnecting rear sway bars ... Eyes

I agree with Lloyd! That lift is great. I'm still working my wife to work for a year in South America. If all goes as planned in a few years, then guess what rig I going to buy!

Nice pics JP. Thanks for making us all jealous. Hey if the US customs would let me, I would buy a grubby Armada or a Titan and drive it down to Chile and we could swap rigs.
