Flares? I thought they were cupholders!
Yeah, a bit too much chrome but I guess that's being nitpicky. Or not. Wink

Tires are too big - I wouldn't want that in too much of an off camber spot, but it is cool.

Stock Patrol axles are an H260 rear and an H233B front. Plenty of beef for big tires - save maybe for the birfields.

I would be willing to bet those are preped for Iceland. In Iceland they do up their rigs just like this.....mostly for flotaion in the snow.

Those 4dr patrols are modeled as the Y60. They were built from either 80 or 82 till 88. Then they moved to another platform. Don't know what the newer ones are called.

Oh, and as far as the flares go, Japanesse law require the entire tire to be covered. Can not have any part of the tire sticking beyond the fender walls. That goes for cars as well.

Good eye, TJL. That's too funny, what do they think they will do with that spare?

Check out the nice radius arm setup on it.

the front suspension is not much different than the older broncos. It's kinda cool that the crossbar is in the back it would prent it from getting trail damage and sort of elimate the need for hysteer.

Kinda cool steering similar to the z bar setup to the zukis..

The thing I dislike is the big driveshaft spacer and the fart can exhaust.

I'll be gay here and say that the fart can on the side is cool. it probably sounds real good to, a real motor with a fart can resonator sounds good. And whats wrong with driveshaft spacers? really? is there a negative side to them or is it OK but just kinda ghetto? sounds like a good idea.

Not a cast spacer I hope Eyes Though it does look machined.

I guess the driveshaft spacer is effective but he got kinda cheap and didn't have a custom driveshaft made. That's all I think happened.
It looks like a milled block of aluminium. I think the fart can is ugly myself it's probably loud as all hell though. Sorry I just see so many stupid cars like saturns and dodge neons with them on and thier motors really don't benefit from a exhaust like that. Those make me cringe as well as the stupid aluminum wings some of these fools have on thier rides.
