I just got my 4 wheeler mag and sure enought the Titan wins! Not that I was surprised that it was the best, but I was surprised that the F-150 and all its dirty marketing money didn't get the award. Good work Nissan, to step up to the plate and make the full sized then to do it so well.

I know this is old but not SO old, so ill bring it back up, just wondering why it is so bad for push buton 4WD? I heard that on some chevys there was a heat silinoid or something that got warm and then engaged 4WD so when trying to cross a river or playing in a cool mud bog, all the sudden your now trying to do it with only the raer wheels. ois the titans 4WD system something like this. or do you just like stopping and pulling the T case lever???

The disadvantage to pushbutton 4wd = more stuff to break. The motors, electrics, etc also just add more weight and complexity to the truck... where a simple lever would work JUSt fine. IMO, its just an excuse for automakers to command a higher price for the vehicles.
The convenience of having a little knob just doesnt cut it for me. My ford has that stupid little knob. Luckily, John's Ford has those auto/manual hubs so you can get 4wd even if the button breaks. I'm pretty sure that's how it works...

the button also controls the T-case. If the auto hubs fail, i can manually lock them in, but the T-case is still electric.

Plus, those heater knob thingy's don't have a neutral position either for flat towing.
