A guy in Atlanta dynoed his new truck...256hp at the wheels! 300ft/lb torque! If you use a 26% drivetrain loss, that's about 325hp at the crank!

The guy who owns the dyno said the highest Hemi he's seen was 254rwhp, 276ft/lb...

26% is some incredibly high drivetrain loss, even for a 4x4

NOPE....From all of my research...FWD/2WDs are usually 10-20% drivetrain loss, And 4WD/AWDs are usually 20-30% drivetrain loss!! If you base these dyno results w/ the claims of Nissan in producing 380 ft./lbs. of TQ...Then it actually comes out to be a 21% drivetrain loss!!! Later.... smiley4

on that site some guy is saying the ram guys are complaoining that they have 20's and the titans got only 18's but the titans tires are like .75 inches bigger dso they actually have an advantage?

Im not trying to prove the ram or the titan as a better truck but 2 inches of wheel is WAY heavier then 3/4 and inch of tire isnt it? seems to me like it would be.

I like the titan, but to me the ram looks better, havent seen a titan in person though and my attitude usually changes on things like that when I finally do.

I was chatting with my buddy the other day about how nice it would be if Nissan made a full line of trucks. They already have the axles(h260), tcase(TX12) and diesel engine(from UD box trucks) in their parts inventory so why not put it all together. They may even have a dualie rear axle that would work somewhere.

Also, they should make a Titan with a D60 rear, for what that truck is supposed to be doing, a D44 is way to small IMHO.

Okay I have been mostly babying the Titan, but tonight the air seemed perfect so I let it slide up to a number less than 111. It wanted to run...it IS a bad motor scooter.

It definately get checked out more since the rims. I like it.

Sell my tires.

Meh.

I'm tryin' to sell your tires. It's not easy when you work AT a tire shop!

I'll bet you transmit alot more of that power to the ground since putting those D-U-B's on... They do sell a sticker that says "DUB" on it... haha
