Stumbled upon a gold mine of questions:

1. The hottest temperature ever recorded in Arizona is what, and where was it recorded?

2. What Arizona town is named after a poker hand?

3. What is the least populated county in Arizona?

4. Compared to all other state capitols, where does Phoenix rank in size?

5. How did Flagstaff get its name?

6. What's the coldest temperature ever recorded in Arizona, and where was that?

Maybe you folks with kids here in AZ can answer this one..Growing up here, I had a teacher in 4th grade who spent a lot of time and effort in helping us to learn AZ's rich history. I like to think I'm pretty well versed in it myself smiley34 Then, in High School, I had to take at least 1 semester of AZ history. I don't think the 4th grade lessons were mandatory, but I do believe the 10th grade lessons are. Is it still a required course of study in AZ schools? I think it's great if it is Smile
