Maybe you folks with kids here in AZ can answer this one..Growing up here, I had a teacher in 4th grade who spent a lot of time and effort in helping us to learn AZ's rich history. I like to think I'm pretty well versed in it myself Then, in High School, I had to take at least 1 semester of AZ history. I don't think the 4th grade lessons were mandatory, but I do believe the 10th grade lessons are. Is it still a required course of study in AZ schools? I think it's great if it is
