When I was in Boy Scouts, I had a 6' rattler coil up inside my sleeping bag. Luckily, I was trained to shake my bag/shoes before using them
We tied my spiderco knife to a tent pole, and speared the bastard. Skinned, cooked, and ate him. Mmmmmm... tasted just like salty chicken ----------------------------- My myspace page. TUPPERWARE!!!! A .410 is handy for removing their heads, and they do cook up good if that's what your after. I think they used to be easier to find around the citys fringe. Used to hunt 'em around fountain hills in the mid 80's. I had a pretty big tarantula crawl/flop out of my sleeping bag along the Colorado River, below the Hoover Dam, one fine morning. And more recently than that, at Woods Canyon Lake as I was deflating an air mattress I'd slept on, a fiddleback spider, (as big if not bigger than your sig-pic DR) crept out from underneath I'm still getting professional help for that I've gotta' start sleeping off the ground... If it has tits or tires, you're gonna' have problems... I got your jeep thing, now it burns when I pee... |
