I've been around when guys are freestyling R/C heli's and 40% (scale) R/C planes (think 12 foot wingspans). It's cool to watch, and scary as hell to be close to. It's basically like having a Briggs & Stratton engine and blade with no deck flying around seemingly out of control.

I can't imagine what it cost to become that good, or how much $$ he has wrapped up in that bird.
The rotorhead on my junk wouldn't withstand two minutes of that. (Not that I can fly it worth a crap.)  Definintely amazing!!! |
