Came up to Happy Jack yesterday and these pictures were taken from Pine to Strawberry, there was at least 1" of hail covering the road. Pictures were taken with phone while driving.
Can't believe this was on the 3rd of July and the temps were in the low 50's. Today we dropped into the low 60's for most of the afternoon and got some hail, but nothing like yesterday. Sure better than 113 degrees in Phoenix.... --------------------------------------------------------- 04 SAS Frontier, 8" Lift Total, 35x12.5x15 MT's with Staun Internal Beadlockers, Calmini Crawler Gears, ARB Front & Rear Air Lockers. |

How long does it take you to go up the 87 to get there? Seems like it would take alot longer than goin up the 17. Especially in weather like that!

2 1/2 hours from Gilbert to Mile Post 304 on HWY 87, but if I take I17, the traffic from Deer Valley RD to Anthem would add 30-60 minutes on that drive. If I lived in the NW Valley, I would take I17 though.
Had Rain and Hail on Friday, Saturday and yesterday, in fact, yesterday (Sunday) at 3 pm. it was raining and the temp was 54 degrees. --------------------------------------------------------- 04 SAS Frontier, 8" Lift Total, 35x12.5x15 MT's with Staun Internal Beadlockers, Calmini Crawler Gears, ARB Front & Rear Air Lockers. |
