Here it is!!!

Look closely.. is it?

Yes...

Its a BBQ grill!

Swing it out into position:

But its not an ordinary grill... It swings down and outward into position and is fully height adjustable:

The extension motion allows for perfect cooking height as well as clearance to open the lid:

The engineering that went into this was mind boggling. Smile The suspension is built from 4 parallel links and gas charged struts. In its full range of motion, the BBQ stays level:

The underside when up in storage/transport mode:

Here you go guys! If you guys have ever been sick of crappy camping stoves.. this is pretty much the ultimate mobile bbq grill. It was built from a brand new hacked up 30,000 BTU twin burner grill. I sketched the design out and we spent 3 days building it. Its very smooth in its operation and with the struts, is almost effortless to lift it back into its storage position, where it latches in place. The arm mechanism folds flat into a 3/4" space. When folded out, a 5 gal propane bottle is hung from the hook underneath while cooking. The gas struts are from a Pathfinder's hatch and still have the NISSAN part numbers on them. Smile

And the video of it in action:

That is great. You need to get that thing patented. You could make millions off of it.

Hmm, I was wondering if he would jump his truck with it on there. Crazy and cool at the same time, hehe. Seems tough enough to me. One more reason to investigate turning the idea into profit. Smile
