***Shootin' the Mossy.***

It is a video of my friend and I shooting my shotgun. Kinda bored, and felt like playing with windows movie maker, lol

Anyway, it is cool watching produce and water jugs evaporating lol

Nothing too impressive, just fun. And yes, I picked up ALL my shells, as well as the other asshats' shells.

Dood, that's awesome. I am gonna have to take a pic of mine now. Added a heat shield (had to modify it to fit a tactical cruiser), a flashlight mount, and a sling. This thing looks hardcore, lol

I had a sling on my shotgun at one time. I did a "quick draw" type thing with it though and the sling came up infront of the barrell and blew it in half lol . oops!

i was going to ask you Greg if you had seen the surefire grip light yet. the remington i shot today had one and it was pretty sweet. they go for like 250$ though. i think i'll just go for the 7$ light holder and maglight with pressure switch.

after me shooting over 50 rounds thru my gun in a short ammount of time the barrel was still not hot enough for me to worry about so im skipping the heat shield.

what kinda shells have you been shooting? the magnums rocked me.

For plinkin and quail (going in January), I use Federal Premium 7.5 shot, 2.75" shells. For home defense, I alternate loads of Remmington 3" Magnum 00 Buck, and Federal 2.75 Magnum slugs. Plenty of kick on those Wink

From left to right, birdshot, slug, and 00 Buck:

I had a sling on my 500 until the first time I took it out shooting with the new sling. The receiver tube is the same length as the barrel, the shoulder strap screws on to the end of the receiver tube... It didn't last long.

im staying away from slugs for now. i'll pick some up just for giggles, but i dont think i will have them for home defense. they would laugh at the walls in this house and easily go elsewhere. also i like having 15 high powered pellets to having 1 big pellet. did you shoot any slugs yet? are they worse than the remington 00 magnums?

thats the same 00 magnums i have, the same ones that surprised the hell out of me today, 15 @ wallyworld for 9$ and change.

Slugs pack a good punch to them. smiley17 They probably do kick more than the 00 magnums.

Yeah, I've shot several of those 3 types of rounds... slugs are fun Wink

Go get a box, and some old produce, or gallon jugs full of water, and have fun. Cool

i was already pushing it with the empty jugs i brought to the range today. rules are its meant for trap shooting only, no targets. it was funny though, there was the remains of some old stereo kinda electronics out there. someone did it up office space stile.

it sucks though cause i have to drive like 45 minutes to get to the closest place for my to legally shoot the shotgun. there is ranges closer but they wont do shotguns. and also you cant just go find a safe spot in the woods to shoot due to it making you guilty of hunting without a license.
