Found a killer deal on this at a local gun shop, and couldn't pass it up. It is a Mossberg 500 Tactical Cruiser, 12 gauge...

Pretty much stock, except they added a foldable stock. I believe that everything else is pretty much stock for the Tactical Cruiser (from pics I saw on their page).

Arizona does not have a "wait" period.

They used to, but got rid of it. Now, in store, they do an "instant FBI Check." This applies to ALL firearms. In addition, if you have a CCW (concealed carry weapons permit), you are exempt from this background check.

The only waiting I had to do, was them processing my debit card.

When I purchased my XD, I had it same day, 15 min after I signed the papers.

If you want to go shooting some day, I've got a small arsenal from 1944 to present. Might need to go to an outdoor range due to the restrictions on steel in the projectiles that most indoor ranges have. If there is a place we can wheel and shoot that would be cool.

Sorry, not trying to post jack. I'd like to go shooting in AZ, havn't done that in a few years. Wish I could go to the big show next weekend but I don't think I can make it.

im looking for a persuader 12 ga. same barrel you have, hell kinda i want the same gun. i dont want a cruiser but the pistol grip with a stock is nice.

I was originally after a Mossberg 8-shot "Security" model, but with this, I couldn't pass it up.

I had the opportunity to go out shooting yesterday after work, and man, I love it. I was surprised at how little the recoil was... everyone I talked to said that 12ga kicks like a mule, and I'd be in for a "treat."

Well, I shot 30 shells yesterday. 20 7.5 birdshot, 5 3" slugs, and 5 3" 00 buck magnums. My shoulder is a little sore, but nothing to complain about. As a matter of fact, I may be going out again tomorrow.

good to hear it doesent kick too bad. maybe it was wusses that said the magnums kicked too hard. i'll probably go check some of em out tomorrow.

I got my Mossberg 500A at Big 5 Sporting Goods brand new for $220. Holds 7 in the tube

I did some modifications to mine as well. Front and rear pistol grips with a barrell shroud. I'll take some pics of it tonight.

.00 then slug, .00 slug etc.

Pattern. Shoot through the wall, pattern. .00 is really 8 32 caliber balls coming at you.

Ultimate home defense weapon.

You can lay it on a locked door at the location of the top hinge with the slug and fire. Door will fall over. Just don't do it in a ground floor apartment or you may kill someone upstairs.



Weapon is really only good for one thing. But really good at it.

Yeah, I love it, and am more comfortable having it at an arm's length at home. Overkill, yeah, but more efficient than my .45 in a SHTF scenario. Plus, I don't get sore shooting my XD,

I think 5 in the tube +1 is more than enough, hah.

I ordered a sling for it, and I am thinking about adding a heat shield too

Well lets face it, a normal 180lb human being would probably be in for a decent kick, but that same kick to someone your size probably felt like a fly landing. In fact, the impact was probably absorbed by fat waves
