Pull the slide back a little bit, pull down on the teeth the push the slide forward at the same time. Takes a few tries to get it right, but it makes it a lot easier.

i like my nylon one since it is ambidextrous and also its a clip on so it works well as a side holster and also works as a IWB holster. the tactical prints a little but it would be fine with a jacket or something baggier. i dont think it will be a prob. i'll probably get a compact when i get ahead financially.

i was going to look for some speer gold dot +p to keep in it for home. for now its a whole lotta FMJ.

i can do it on the glocks, i just found it difficult if i had sweaty hands or no finger nails. the springfield you just lock the slide back, flip up the takedown lever, release it from the slide lock, pull trigger and slide off.
