Went wheelin on Sunday with a good friend of mine from Decatur. He was no virgin to the trails definitly knew his way around living so close to the park. We ran all of green, about 80% of orange till the locked wrangler nearly got stuck in the deep mud. We played in the creek and quarry for a while to.

Got to love rock sliders, definitly got my moneys worth out of them this weekend.

Attempted a crazy greasy hill climb possibly left from a superlift event and bumped the side of the pit wall breaking the plastic clips on the flare. No body damage though. Locked wrangler didn't make it any farther then I did.

Hill at the start of orange The hill has some dagger like rocks at the top. Spotter guy just wanted to be sure my diff would clear. Trail sign said winch required, tight brush. Trail was very very tight sometime trees where just a inch away.

This was a pretty grease like tight hole on orange.

Jeep going in

Me going in

Very steep hill, on the way down the wranger was a two wheels.

A set of hills on green where way harder then what we found on orange. I high centered on the frame at the top of one forcing me to back up and floor it.

Bumper is in the dirt.

One big slider scar.

The camera man loved my truck. He was very suprized at how well the old HB could keep up with the Jeep. I even made it over some stuff the Jeep couldn't.

nice pics, that place looks like fun. pretty tight though...

I noticed the "caution steep hill" sign, is the area an off road park, or a really well maintained wildlife area?

That looks like a fun place to wheel. Where is that? Do they have a website?

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.
