I've seen people speed on the interstate. I don't think I've ever seen a car going over 150 on I-10. I've seen bikes going inhumane speeds on the road.
If he was to crash at that speed he would take out everything in the cars path. Assuming the speed limit is 70 on that interstate. He was going over 3 times the speed limit. Coworkers with bikes say at 180MPG a car has to be at least half a mile ahead for the eye to recognize it. at 219MPG you are covering almost 4 miles every minute. at 180 your covering 3 miles every minute. Got to be really hard for the naked eye on a normal street to know the cars/objects around. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |

Well, I may be against the grain but at least he's not letting it waste away in a garage. Now there are probably better places he could have chosen to ring it out, I can't say that would be able to resist the temptation of winding that baby up. Also sounds like they were trying to communicate if the coast was clear via 2 way radio? I can also imagine the driver of the car that was not seen saying to his/her passenger:"did you see that?" the best thing that can happen is the bridge pylon or something else takes him out. ive driven 120 in a car and it was stupid. really at anything more than 75 or so the car will do what it wants. at over 130 or so you might as well just be ready to kiss your ass goodbye. hopefully we all get lucky and these people wont take anyone else out when they eat it.

those new lp640s are pretty sweet... I used to hang out with a chick that worked at the Lambo/Aston Martin/Spyker dealership in Atlanta, and I got to ride in one late this past spring... they are disgustingly fast and loud when you hit the switch the mufflers to straight through performance mode, or whatever they call it... it sounds (And feels) like an f-ing jet taking off...
