Mine is of 1/64 scale diecast. The bottom shelf is where the money is....mostly Hot Wheels, and a few matchboxes from the '70's.

On top are some plastic models I did years ago.

I have a Hot Wheels HB KC. smiley46

The models look good.

I collect die-cast forklifts.

I collect shot glasses. I have over a hundred different ones. Right now, they are all packed up (from the move). I need to get some shelves to properly display them Wink

My wife called me a pack-rat because of all the junk I've collected over the years. But she kindda changed her mind when she found out the gain in value of my 2.000 Micro-Train N-Scale freight cars. Unlike the stock market I can play with these things if they lose value...

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0QACUDsARiB4wzxl3SqhYppVN...=4675603354493786885 If PIC don't show

The freight cars in the collection are still new in the box, not on the lay-out.

Have a good one, and CUL.. Don S..

That's cool!

About 20 years ago, a guy who went to our church invited me and a friend to his home...it was a 16x80 mobile home that had enough room for a bed, a small kitchen, and a sofa. The rest of the house was all Lionel. He had the most elaborate cities and landscapes I've ever seen in model railroading....Thousands of autos, people, traincars, hundreds and hundreds of feet of track....amazing.....all the people were hand painted.

You can't put a price on a collection like that.

Model railroading is cool. I have some N-scale stuff at my parents' house that I never took with me. I would love to do a scale setup, but I really don't have room for it now. Wink

I thought it would be kinda cool to have a train that was above your head, and followed the walls of the house, going in and out of em, making tunnels and whatnot above each door.

When i was younger i was into trains. I was always HO scale and had a nice layout in my Moms garage. Building the layouts was the fun part to me and i badly wanted to be a Civil engineer because of it but then i turned 16 and bought my first car. Lost complete interest in my trains and sold everything to my Uncle who has a big layout at his house.

When i buy a house i'd love to get back into it. I still build plastic models and collect 1/18 scale cars but trains and train layouts was so much fun, i do miss it.

I've got hundreds of 1/24 scale diecast cars, 1/18 scale diecast, and many many more miniature diecast farm implements, tractors and construction equip. Oh, and I can't forget the diecast aircraft! All except my jeeps are boxed in the garage, and I have 30 or 40 1/18's in my closet that I've never taken out of the box. Once you get started, it's kind of a slippery slope. Smile

Those are the collector cards that came with the 4 Johnny Lightning James Bond cars I have.

Good catch. It's Sean Connery.
