Our board is going to be upgraded sometime in the next 2 weeks to a new & improved version of ubb.x

As some of you remember, we usually have some problems right after an upgrade while we work out bugs and quirks.

There are things that will change and I have not gotten a complete copy of the version notes yet. I can tell you one thing is that when you log in - there will now be some type of indicator to tell you if you have new Private Topics! Beyond that, I'm still not sure.

I will receive an email 24 hours prior to our scheduled upgrade. The upgrade WILL require down time. Once I get the notification, I will post the date here. I have not been told how much down time, but the server we are on is twice as big as some of the others who have already been upgraded and they have experienced an average of 3 hours downtime.

Once the upgrade is complete, I will post a topic in General Chat for everyone to post problems they are having or things that seem wrong so I can research to find out if they are bugs or just new usability.

I just got word - our upgrade will be happening tonight. They will start anywhere around 9pm Pacific time. They anticipate about 6 hours to do the upgrade. So, sometime tomorrow morning we should be back in business.

Whenever I start a new topic, my post count is ZERO and my new sig isn't happening.

ahhh ok, sooo it's zero posts everytime now.

Work will be done on the server tonite so starting at about 11pm Arizona time the site will be unavailable for a couple hours while they fix performance issues.
