Greg probably early friday morning , if you want we could probably meet up with on I-8 goin to san diego ?

alrighty we got the majority of Nissan specific forums up to date so lets keep it to those forums cause right now we are at 40 trucks if every person invites one buddy thats 80 trucks , so please keep it to the forums that are Nissan specific ,plus the people that are already wheeling there , i just dont want to be wheeling in a parking lot

Yeah we're starting to figure that out right now. we'll probably have 3 different 4x4 runs at different difficulty levels as well as a prerunner one.

no too sure how many pre runner guys are comming though... hopefully penski knows who is there for what on the list.

Ya, thta many trucks will make for some slow goin if al lplaying follow the leader and stopping for pics. Not much technical crawlin in OcoWells itself.. There is the sand hill which has a good view and will stop those who haven't aired down enough.

There's the Borrego Droppoff to the west of the ranger station proper. That's off of Buttes pass rd - any brave 2wd can go down that- some rocky parts at the bottom, but hardly anything that would require loads of travel.

The Pinyon Mtn Dropoff and the Squeeze( about 15 miles as the crow flies - to the south) ARE technical- needing lots of travel, and should be done from west to east starting over on S-2 on Pinyon Mtn Road( which is a good distance away from OW- abuout 6 miles south of Scissors Crossing).

The third "dropoff" accessed from Arroyo tapiado/ Arroyo Seco del Diablo drops down into Fish Creek. Once you hit the Fish, you go left and can hit( from the wrong direction) the PInyon Mtn Dropoff that has another rocky techincal section aobut 2 miles west of it.

The PM dropoff ,to be done basackwards needs high HP rig/sand slinging tires, and then a wheelie bar( not a normal accessory) to prevent flipping over backwards near the top.

Big Grinthat's just a teaser...
Penski, yuour turn

OK so i had this massive plan written up then decided that i need to play with the schedule so the runs don't run into eachother on fish creek. and adjust it to let people configure thier run schedule to do what they want.

I'm trying to make the most out of the weekend and not just do 3 runs.

I'm thinking:
-a run down the squeeze/pinion dropoff and out fish creek.

-a run down canyon sin nombre down diablo drop off and out fish creek.

-a few opporitunities to run coyote canyon cause it's cool. possibly a night run.

-some time to go check out the pumpkin patch and other wash exploration.

-some time for blowsand hill and notches exploration.

Also need to gather up some run leaders.

Hey RB, I'm realling liking the N.I.T.H. Run i'm thinking it'd be best if we did that in like feb or march. it'll give us some time to revisit the hammers before the event.
I also think it'll be like pulling teeth to get people to come out around the holidays.

thats true... i was only thinking november for the weather. any other time after summer is good too though.

i can't wait... this is going to be equivalent to the az run

Penski should be adding Stone to the list soon.
