Thought I'd post this here, even though it isn't a4x4 ride. I mean you could ride a 4x4 there but it really is best to have a quad or a dirt bike with a paddle tire. Glamis is a sand dune area in socal where folks take fast machines and get on the gas.

Honestly I was thinking about going, I have a polaris ranger side by side and heard they aren't too bad in the dunes, but I don't have a toy hauler or a motorhome but it does sound like fun.
