I just got bored and scrolled back as far as I could and found some interesting threads
from 2002. Its really cool to see how everyones trucks are turning out. In the Mingus Mtn.
thread, look how clean Flip's pathy used to be!

Why even bother making your Pathy/Frontier/Xterra better offroad when you can buy a jeep. I only read the first page, but this is rediculous.

Digging up some serious bones there.

Zhvonte has since been banned for being an idiot.

MVM slipped into the deep end of looney. He's gone.

Mikey cut his truck up until there was nothing left.

Flip's Pathfinder used to be in pretty good shape!

Was Zhvonte the wreckless guy on the trail? And what do you mean by MVM "slipped into the deep end of looney?"

MVM was always off the edge, he just hid it for awhile.

ALLEGEDLY he ripped off some folks, did some real poor welds etc. And was a dick about it. ALLEGEDLY.

Zhvonte ahhhhhh what a peach. Guy was um, not SWANKy. Tried too hard to fit in, drove a jeep instead of a Nissan, was just a bit off. Claimed to drink ungodly amounts of booze AND Mountain Dew. Made all kinds of crazy statements.

The thing that is wild about this thread is Flips Pathy all clean and everything.

lol

Meh.

no, Zhvonte had a Frontier...first a 2wd one that we towed all the way through Table Mesa, and then a 4x4. All other comments about him are accurate.

MVM. ALLEGEDLY? The guy is a nutjob. He welds things that fall off (like spare tires carriers, etc., and he nearly totalled that guy's Xterra that he did the hackjob SAS on. All under the guise of being a 'professional fabricator'. There's some people that just shouldn't have access to daddy's money to start businesses they have no business starting.

It does. Installed March, 2003 right after the AZ Run, but before Moab. Was one of the first sets sold.

I caught that, but it was so subtle I wasn't even sure it was there. If I'd have known what Zhvonte drove I'd have been sure. Still waiting for the protests... Big Grin

Um...yeah....I'm with you now.

Funny how subtlety slaps you in the face sometimes.

Must be an inside thing. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had made the mingus mtn run in awhile. I was curious to see if it had changed any since those pics.
