hey guys,
dont know if you guys saw it, but Extreme 4x4 on Spike Network is finally doing a nissan build project. They claim it will be a "crew" truck for the cameras and stuff. so far, they just put in a new vg30 cause the old one blew.
I think they should go all the way and do a coils sas on it. it would probably help bring interest to the virtually non existent aftermarket. Anyways, just thought i would share. what do you guys think?

Ahh, OK. I had the TV on and was off doing some stuff in another room and heard a comment about Nissans not being seen a lot out on the trails. Then, something like not that much aftermarket parts out. Must have been Extreme 4x4. Obvious they never heard about Nissan 4 wheelers and how much Swanky trails. Just might be good news for the bolt-on do-it-your-selfer.

Enjoy the ride,
Ben

I thought they were actually going to do something to it yesterday. That rebuilt VG30 from Jasper looked cool though. $2500.

hopefully it will get people motivated to build more nissans. The reason there is such a huge toyota after market is because everyone has seen/heard what they can do. if we can get that for nissans maybe we can have a aftermarket like toyota's. Calmini is good, but I WANT MORE!! haahaha. If they put that thing on portals, like TheDrip says,.....it would be unstopable. if they dont sas im gonna be pissed.

It depends on what kind of portals. Volvo portals would be cool, but most portals have some pretty big draw backs. One section of a 416's portal not including the center section weighs as much as an H233B.

From what I understand they are running PortalTek portal axles (based on a ford 9 inch).

Yea, I tried to find prices for them when I first saw them on that "Lexus" we were giving spike crap about. The prices are not listed anywhere.
