Good news the operation was successfull. I too hope for a speed recovery for you. Recently, I know it seems I am in my own little world, but if you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I am off all next week, so maybe I can get you your favorite ice cream or something.

Get better dude Smile

Enjoy the ride,
Ben

Day 3.. all I can say is "oh my god my throat hurts".. but I cant really say that because my voice is gone. Frown

Niki (my gf) is taking pretty good care of me, so I'm doin ok.

Gettin tonsils out as an adult is very very painful.. at least the doc gave me some decent drugs to help with it.

I had my wisdom teeth out about 10 years ago.. theres really not much comparison. For me, post op wisdom teeth was just a dull ache and couldnt eat much for 3-4 days. After that I was fine though.

Gettin tonsils out as an adult SUCKS... I've been reading some of the tonsillectomy forums and many of the women say the pain is worse than or as bad as childbirth. Eek All I know is that it hurts pretty bad. Frown

As for eating.. even ice cream is impossible to get down without pain meds. I'll live though.. just gotta hang in there for a couple weeks.

I remember one time when my dad was in his late 30s, he got the chicken pox, then pnemonia... he was in baaaddd shape.

Hope you feel better soon, John. Take it easy, drink chicken and beef broth, that helped me. Other than that, sit back, and watch movies all day, and play X Box, lol

... Now the sad news is, after you get the Chicken Pox it opens you up to get Shingles later. I've had Shingles for a over 10 months straight now. It blurred the vision in one eye and half my forehead and scalp itch all the time.
... They now have a high dollar shot that can help prevent shingles. To Late for me. Roll Eyes
