That is until I had Shingles for a whole week. Then the Doctor told me what the crap it was.

Shingles=Varicella zoster. It's a virus that lurks in the nerve bundles along one of the body's dermatomes. When activated it migrates out along the nerve, causes a rash confined to the area innervated by the affected nerves, and is excruciatingly painful. A good picture is a red blistery rash that starts about halfway down the back along the spinal cord and wraps around to the side or chest. It has clear boundaries cause it only spreads to where the affected nerves end. Fortunately there's good medication if caught early but it's really painful until resolved.
