Our pumps can't adequately drive a hydraulic winch. You can pull, or you can steer, but you can't do both.

An addendum since I posted last: I yanked a coupla morons in a full size Suburban over some boulders and out of a creekbed on Oak Creek Homestead trail a few days ago. Idiots had the back end of the burb against a 7 foot vertical creek bank and the front end against 24 inch rocks--without a working front axle! I should have tied off to a tree to my front bumper (with a strap going under the sheep) but the 9.5 still pulled em out with no sweat.
