SOme of my tales of wow:

Some ropedeficient nonnthinking person dropped a mattress and boxxspring

( one in each lane)
on the 2-lane "52" freeway, locally.

I demolished his boxxpring, but Complain they were just going to the dump w/ them. Traffic was tight and fast, then cars up ahead started swerving. I knew i didn't want to play that game- I rolled over the boxspring quite easily at 65+.

I friend from highschool hit an inflated spare tire in fwy traffic- he was on a motorcycle. Broke his leg/ arm wrist and abrasions. He healed.

I hit a big rock in the middle of the road
( motorcycle) in 1987. BRoke my left leg in 5 places and lots of road rash.

"Climate change is no longer science. It's politics... Climate change is also about power. Power to control.... It's about who gets to decide: how much energy we will have... where that energy will come from... what it will cost... It's about simulations, scenarios and monsters conjured up by computer models that should never be used to chart government policy -- especially on matters that will profoundly affect our livelihoods, living standards, life spans and dreams of a better future.

"So hold onto your wallets, and hope you can hold onto your homes, cars and jobs. You're about to be put on a wild political roller coaster."

The dude stopped and retrieved the shovel. He asked if my car was alright and apoligized.

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.
