Well guys we all made the trip to South Carolina. We've been here for a couple of weeks now. The last time I made that drive it was a lot easier. The uhaul trailer I rented was way overloaded and not much fun to pull. It would get a little whippy at 65 or higher. I tasted the clutch, lost a gap cap some where in Illinois, burned out the muffler, and almost broke the ball off the hitch. There's stress cracks in a 2" ball 1" shank. All in all not a bad trip. Listen up kiddies it's never a good idea to pull a trailer that weighs more than the tow vehicle, especialy a uhaul trailer that sucks balls period. The ozarks were fun. Had to hit 3rd gear a couple of times. The SC was singing 1st-4th. I'm impressed with the truck. My brother hooked up to the uhaul to pull it over to my rental house and his comment was never sell your truck. He drives a dodge 1500 crew. He was amazed the truck pulled it like it did. Any way not that anybody cares Wink, but the whole family made it in one piece. Now I gotta find me some trails to play on. Oh yeah my brother owns a fab shop that he said I could build whatever I want in. Just bring the materials and he will let me use the welders, plasma cutters shears everything. He even has a baint booth and guns for me to use. Razz

Cool man, I towed across country before, even with all the right stuff, there are gonna be problems when you tow for a few thousand miles.

I wouldn't say for mor like because of work. Too much stress between my wife and I's jobs. I still have my house out there but hopefully not for long.

Needs a comma after the word "for". I wouldn't say for, more like because...

Sorry Bill. I wasn't being picky. I seriously couldn't make it out. I get it now, though. Wink

The part about tasting the clutch WAS a friendly poke. smiley36

And one more thing; you need to get your sig pic back up. Big Grin

Yeah yeah yeah. I know I need my sig pic back. My server is somewhere in North Lima, Ohio. The guy who is supposed to be housing it has yet to get it up and working. Oh well. I knew it was a joke. Besides I thought you of all people could understand hillbilly.

Yeah, if you saw what I towed from LA to Albuquerque in my 4 cylinder 4x4, and the load that was in the bed too, on a bumper hitch, you would have pooped down both legs. Nissans rock.
