I think I've already mentioned it but Joe Rocket makes an armored mesh jacket called the "Phoenix 5". Its made to be worn when its really hot. As long as your moving its very comfortable. I also have the Phoenix 3 gloves, also kevlar armored. These things are vented and meshed so that you stay really cool. Check em out online.

A reflective vest should also be worn over any jacket to increase visibility.

I rode my bicycle down Salt River Canyon (North of Globe) one day back in 1997...

I hit 48 MPH... it was freaking awesome!

Andy, Zach and his wife wear some gear that is meshed for the heat. THe temps out here have only been around 100-105 but the humidty above 50% has been death.

Yeah, 105 in DFW is hot. It was about 109 yesterday on the way home. I was a sweaty mess when I got there.

Was never a big fan of the white with the pink stickers but I got a better deal on it so I fixed it over the past couple of weekends.

All the white fairings were removed and painted flat black and replaced the pink stickers with reflective ones.
