Not my thing, but very cool.

I have often wondered, if you know you might sink your car it wouldn't be hard to make some sort of emergency inflatable undercarriage type thing... compressed CO2 is cheap, and it doesn't take much air...

a big bag of air under the truck is great, until the truck turns over. unfortunately you'd have to have the center of mass low enough that theres no way it could topple, which would mean your truck would still be swimming, but the waterline slightly above the bottom of the doors (nothing we haven't all done in a river crossing) would probably be low enough.

OK...guys...If someone can "host" this vid of mine...-I'LL show you a lil mud!!!! (something we called the "Elephant Pit" - no longer in existence - now a housing development) I have the awesome quality 266MB vid, a smaller (I just used Windows Movie Maker) 6.26MB vid, and an ultra-compressed "still-viewable" 2.05MB file. I actually have myself on video (friend, Abe taping) going through this somewhat Large mud hole w/ my 01 Fronty a coupla months after I had my 1st susp. lift installed, back in July 02- Calmini 3", NO Body Lift, Open front-end, stock LSD rear-end, and 32x10.50 (265/75/16) Bridgestone Dueler M/Ts!!! SOMEHOW...Well...nevermind...I'll let you decide once you see the vid! Big Grin

So... lemme know if I could e-mail one of these files of something to somebody, and they could put it up on here. That'd be KOOL!!!!! Big Grin Later....

sure. ooe-death@mods4me.com I just tried it from work. I can log in just fine. try ftp://www.mods4me.com from IE then use the info I gave you. Either way. You can send the bigger one if you want. I run the server so I don't have a limit on attachment size.

OK Bill, I just sent you the 6MB video via e-mail. Lemme know if you want the HUGE 266MB vid for crystal clear video/audio, though I don't think "MY" e-mail provider supports that large of a file!!! Big Grin (think I'm limited to 10MB via e-mail) Later... OH....I'd appreciate it, if you'd PM me once you "hopefully" get it on the website!! Thanx Again!!! Later...
